Q: How do I know I can trust your shop to fix my car?
A: We have been serving the DFW area since 1986 because people love our work and tell their friends. Some of our biggest supporters are high-end car enthusiast club members who wouldn’t risk taking their cars anywhere else, not even to their auto dealer.
Q: Do you guarantee your work?
A: Absolutely. We provide a written lifetime guarantee of our work for as long as you own the vehicle. We’ve been in business for almost thirty years, so you can count on us to be here to honor our lifetime guarantee.
Q: Why do you keep my car before the parts have arrived?
A: In most cases, the insurance company will not initially approve all of the OEM parts that are required for the proper repair of your vehicle. Before repairs can begin, we need to show them that all the parts we requested are damaged and need to be replaced. Then the insurance company will include them on their estimate. Then we can order the parts and start the repairs.
Q: Where can I get a rental car to drive while mine is being repaired?
A: We have multiple rental car companies located very near our shop. We can arrange for them to pick you up from our shop.
Q: What do I need to do after I get new paint job?
A: We have a few tips to insure the longevity of the life of your new paint job, and we will provide these to you on paper when our job is complete. In summary: we recommend not using any commercial car wash, wax, or harsh chemicals during the paint curing process. Contaminates, such as bird droppings, tree wax, and dead bugs, can be particularly damaging during this period, so we recommend keeping your vehicle clean and free of contaminates. Hand washing is the best way to preserve the paint.
Auto Collision Repairs
Q: What should I do after an auto accident to get my car fixed?
A: Please read our blog, “What to Do After a Car Accident“.
Q: Do I have to go to the auto body shop the insurance company told me to go to?
A: Definitely not. According to the laws of the State of Texas, you have the right to take your vehicle to any auto repair shop you desire. Most insurance companies use word tricks to scare people into using their “approved list” of auto collision centers. The insurance company will tell you they will guarantee their approved shops’ work and cannot guarantee ours—this statement is designed to place doubt in your mind about the quality of repairs performed at other auto body shops. However, we provide a written lifetime guarantee on our repairs for as long as you own the vehicle. We’ve been in business since 1986, so you can count on us to be here to honor that guarantee. Also, our mission is to repair your vehicle correctly the first time, so you don’t have to worry about bringing it back a year from now. Our estimates are free, so go ahead and request an estimate today.
Q: Do I have the right to choose the parts used to repair my vehicle?
A: Yes. The laws of the State of Texas allow you to choose the parts and materials used in the repair of your vehicle.
Q: How do I get my insurance company to cover your estimate?
A: We will work directly with the insurance company every step of the way to ensure all repairs will be covered so that your vehicle is put back into its pre-loss condition or better. Our customers love that they get to sit back and let us deal with the stressful negotiations and phone tag that often comes with insurance claims. The bottom line is: we are experts at getting insurance companies to give you everything you are legally entitled to. Our estimates are free, so go ahead and request an estimate today.
Good & Bad Insurance Companies
Q: What auto insurances companies do you NOT recommend?
A: In our many years of experience, we have learned that some insurance companies are more difficult to work with than others because they try to use aftermarket, used, or reconditioned parts that are inferior to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts with which your vehicle was built. We hereby induct these auto insurance companies into our “Hall of Shame”:
- Farmers, GEICO, and Nationwide: use aftermarket, ill-fitting parts that are typically made in Taiwan and not OEM
- State Farm: uses recycled parts that are older than the year of your vehicle and salvage yard suspension parts that have not been tested for safety or integrity
Q: What insurances companies DO you recommend?
A: The insurance companies listed below use the best parts in the industry— the OEM parts that come from the manufacturer of your vehicle. With OEM parts, we can guarantee a proper fit and alignment to repair your vehicle to its pre-loss condition:
- Amica: the best insurance company in the business; they have the best policies and the best customer service
